We’ve finally been blessed with a trailer for the latest from French cinema’s enfant incroyable, Claire Denis (Beau Travail, White Material). Sexy, disturbing and mind-bending, High Life was met with cheers, boos and walkouts upon its premiere at TIFF last year.
The film doesn’t yet have a UK release date, but we’ll get the chance to see what all the fuss is about in early 2019. US audiences will see the film from 12th April. A space odyssey starring Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche and André Benjamin, the story sees a group of criminals being subjected to unworldly physical experiments on a voyage to the edge of space. I, for one, can’t wait to see a film described as “extraordinary, difficult, hypnotic, and repulsive” by Variety.
